Excitement and anticipation builds! School starts back for teachers tomorrow and we meet our new students this Friday, July 31st! As School Librarian for Mt. Carmel Elementary I have been working all summer (well, between mowing grass and taking vacations) to create a fabulous addition to our school library: Maker Space Friday! Each Friday a new S.T.E.M. topic will be featured in the library and students can sign up for hands-on learning designed especially for budding scientists!
Community Volunteers are encouraged and sought out! Come share your speciality in this unique learning environment. See Mrs. Dunning, School Librarian to plan how to intertwine your filed with our elementary course of study.
